It's that day again

Well this post has been long awaited and i still don't know what to write...Lets see how things shape up (abstract is in vogue.. so be fairly warned)

What was disaster is a celebration today
What was born out of despair, is a thing of joy today.
The antipodes have not merged
Nor have heaven and hell
It's just another day

It seems like an eyeblink
A flick of a finger
Time has not stood by ,pondering about the past
Things have moved beyond
but the vestiges remain
To remind and reassure
To prick and chafe
Thus the question is how many celebrations remain??
