happy me day
Celebrating womanhood , celebrating motherhood , celebrating friendship.... one day a year cannot celebrate identities and relationships which are priceless.Does anyone ever ponder over the magnitude of these relations and roles .... even on this day. No. Is it a western concept. One cannot comment on it, but it is fast picking up elsewhere primarily because of the growing distances (physically and emotionally) between people. Gone are the days when people mattered most , mechanisation has been translated into our lives too, and the beneficiary of technology has become the sufferer too. The irony here is that those who have been driven apart by it are coming closer and staying in touch through it. Such is the mysticism of this world. A day cannot celebrate womanhood unless women and men recognise their worth and be what they are and not what others want them to be. so get up each morn and sat Happy me day
